Gasthof Hirsch is located in the heart of Gengenbach's historic old town—one of Germany's most beautiful half-timbered towns. Our traditional inn is housed in a listed building and its warm atmosphere invites you to relax.
We offer you a cozy overnight stay with breakfast in a family-friendly setting. Discover the romantic alleys, the Black Forest on your doorstep, and experience genuine hospitality in the heart of Baden.
Wi-Fi is of course available free of charge.
Please note that our guesthouse is located in a historic building under monument protection. Therefore, we are unable to make any structural changes. The stairs to the rooms are accordingly steep, and unfortunately, there is no elevator available.
Arrival conditions
Since we are a small family business and cannot be present at the reception all the time, we ask our guests to inform us in advance of their expected arrival time.
Please let us know when you plan to arrive – we will endeavor to welcome you personally. If this isn't possible, our key safe is available for contactless self-check-in.

Our rooms are lovingly furnished and equipped with everything travelers need: a private bathroom with shower, fresh towels, toiletries, extra blankets for cool nights, and disposable slippers for your comfort.
Prices for overnight stay
Single room: from 75 € per night
Double room: from 105 € per night
For stays of 3 nights or more, we offer a 10% discount on the total price.

Our breakfast
For breakfast, we serve a varied selection of cheeses such as Gruyère, Brie, mountain cheese, Tête de Moine, Emmental, and Tilsiter. We also offer a hearty selection of Black Forest ham, salami, and cooked ham – and turkey cold cuts upon request.
You can also expect a variety of yogurts, juices, lactose-free or plant-based milk alternatives, boiled eggs, fresh fruit, and our homemade seasonal jam made from regional berries and fruits.
Breakfast prices:
For our house guests: 5 € per person
For external guests: 15 € per person
We are committed to the sustainable use of resources: Towels are changed every two days, bed linen every four days. If you would like additional cleaning of your room, we are happy to offer this for a flat rate of €20.
